When you become a member of the Adriatic Marchegian Club, we collect the following information through our physical membership registration form:

• Year joined

This information is collected in person by club officers and entered into our secure member management system.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely for club operations, including:

• Sending SMS text message updates about club events, meeting reminders, and announcements
• Sending email communications about club news and events
• Managing membership records and dues
• Coordinating club activities

We do not use your information for commercial marketing purposes or sell your data to third parties.

3. SMS Communications & Opt-In Consent

Members who provide their mobile phone number on the membership registration form and check the SMS consent checkbox agree to receive text message updates from the Adriatic Marchegian Club. The consent checkbox on our membership form reads:

"I agree to receive SMS text message updates from the Adriatic Marchegian Club, including event announcements, meeting reminders, and club news. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time."

Consent to receive SMS messages is optional and not required for club membership. Members must actively check the consent box — consent is never assumed or pre-checked.

To opt out of SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any message you receive. To request help, reply HELP. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Twilio — our SMS delivery provider, used solely to transmit text messages to members who have opted in. Twilio's privacy policy can be found at twilio.com/legal/privacy.
• As required by law or legal process.

5. Data Security

Member information is stored in a secure, access-controlled database. Access is restricted to authorized club officers only. We do not store payment information.

6. Data Retention

We retain member information for as long as membership is active. Upon request, we will remove your information from our records. To request removal, contact us at info@amclubderby.com.

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
