1. Program Description

The Adriatic Marchegian Club sends SMS text messages to members who have opted in to receive communications. Messages may include:

• Event announcements and reminders
• Club meeting notifications
• General club news and updates
• Holiday and seasonal greetings from the club

2. How to Opt In

Members opt in to receive SMS messages by providing their mobile phone number on the Adriatic Marchegian Club's physical membership registration form and checking the following consent checkbox:

"I agree to receive SMS text message updates from the Adriatic Marchegian Club, including event announcements, meeting reminders, and club news. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time."

Consent is given voluntarily. Checking this box is not required for club membership. Consent is never pre-checked or assumed — members must actively check the box to opt in. Phone numbers are collected in person by club officers and entered into our member management system.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on club activity. Members typically receive between 1–8 messages per month depending on upcoming events and club announcements.

4. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. The Adriatic Marchegian Club does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier's standard messaging rates may apply.

5. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. To re-enroll, contact us at info@amclubderby.com.

7. Supported Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS messaging is available on most major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others.

8. Privacy

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued receipt of SMS messages after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
